Overview

We are seeking a skilled Release Manager to oversee the planning and execution of technology platform and application releases.

Main Responsibilities

The Release Manager will be responsible for coordinating and planning release activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and high-quality outcomes.

• Coordinate, plan, and maintain the release roadmap for multiple applications.

• Oversee release and deployment planning for parallel releases.

• Facilitate go-live preparations and post-go-live activities.

• Coordinate and track change activities throughout the release process.

• Lead decision meetings for stakeholder approvals on release milestones.

• Organize handover sessions between development and operations teams.

• Enhance release quality and efficiency by integrating innovative techniques and automation.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT project management and planning.

• Previous experience in release or deployment management, preferably in banking.

• Familiarity with ITIL processes and tools for incident, problem, and change management.

• Proficient in Project Management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.

• Understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with technical teams.

• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when necessary.

• Technical mindset with practical knowledge of DevOps.

• Experience with release orchestration tools.

• Experience in automation capabilities within release processes.

• Strong stakeholder management capabilities.

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in IT or related field.
