We're looking for a Senior Reporting Operations Analyst to join our Fund Accounting Reporting team. In this role, you'll support the production of investor, regulatory, and investment reporting while partnering with global teams to ensure data accuracy, operational excellence, and timely delivery.

What You'll Do

Reporting Production

• Prepare and deliver recurring investment, investor, and regulatory reports following established operating procedures.
• Produce non-NAV reporting, including:
• Investment performance reporting
• Derivative reporting
• Investor and consultant reporting
• Regulatory and compliance reporting templates
• Refresh and validate data from approved sources to ensure reports are complete, accurate, and delivered on schedule.

Data Validation & Reconciliation

• Perform first-level quality control (QC) checks on financial and operational reports.
• Validate portfolio mappings, classifications, and business rules.
• Reconcile reports against fund administrator files, accounting systems, and other approved data sources.
• Investigate discrepancies, document findings, and escalate exceptions where appropriate.

Operational Support

• Execute scheduled reporting workflows, report refreshes, dashboards, and operational jobs.
• Monitor production activities and identify processing issues or failures.
• Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), runbooks, and operational checklists.
• Support testing activities for reporting enhancements and process improvements.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Work within established reporting calendars and consistently meet production deadlines.
• Coordinate with fund administrators, internal operations teams, and technical stakeholders to obtain required reporting data.
• Provide timely updates on assigned deliverables and proactively communicate risks or issues.
• Triage reporting requests and determine when escalation or additional investigation is required.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and operational processes.
• Contribute ideas that simplify recurring workflows and strengthen reporting controls.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 4-6 years of experience in:
• Fund Accounting
• Fund Administration
• Investment Operations
• Investment Performance Reporting
• Financial Reporting within Asset Management or Financial Services.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:
• Pivot Tables
• XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP
• INDEX-MATCH
• Error checking and troubleshooting
• Working with large datasets and complex workbooks
• Good understanding of accounting fundamentals, including:
• Debits and Credits
• Trial Balance
• Profit & Loss
• Balance Sheet
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to consistently follow structured operational procedures.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.

It's a Bonus If You Have

⭐ Experience supporting Investor Reporting, Regulatory Reporting, or Performance Reporting within the investment management industry.

⭐ Exposure to Advent Geneva or other investment accounting platforms.

⭐ Basic knowledge of SQL, VBA, or other data analysis tools.

⭐ Familiarity with reporting and analytics platforms such as Databricks, Sigma, Tableau, or similar Business Intelligence tools.

⭐ Experience working in Asset Management, Investment Management, Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Fund Administration, or Shared Services environments.
