Summary
Designs and builds SAP-based data models, dashboards, and automated ETL pipelines in Databricks to deliver business insights and reporting.
We are seeking a Senior Reporting & Data Analytics Engineer to support data-driven decision-making by designing, modeling, and visualizing data across multiple platforms. The role involves working with SAP BI tools, integrating data from various sources, and contributing to modern data workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop data models in SAP Datasphere, including both graphical and SQL-based views
- Build interactive dashboards and reports in SAP Analytics Cloud
- Collect and integrate data from multiple external sources via APIs, handling various authentication methods
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance optimization across reporting solutions
- Work with modern data platforms such as Databricks for advanced data engineering and analytics use cases
- Develop scripts and automation using Python for data processing and integration in a Databricks environment
- Use version control and collaborate on code and assets via GitHub
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data modeling and reporting
- Proficiency in SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud
- Experience working with APIs and authentication mechanisms such as Bearer token and OIDC
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows using GitHub
- Solid understanding of SQL
- Exposure to Databricks or similar data platforms
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment
- Strong communication skills for working with business and technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in English at a B2+ level
