Senior Research Assistant

The group of Prof. Yihan Du at SUTD is recruiting Senior Research Assistants. The Senior Research Assistant will work on research projects related to reinforcement learning (RL), RL theory, and RL applications in large language models (LLMs). Responsibilities include conducting theoretical analysis of RL algorithms, running experiments to evaluate RL algorithms, and writing research papers.

Requirements:

• Applicants should hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields.
• Prior research experience in machine learning, reinforcement learning or LLMs is preferred.
• Strong Python programming skills and familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow are desirable.
