Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the site supervision team to monitor, inspect, and supervise civil and structural works.
- Oversee major building construction works, including structural steel and drainage works, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with QP(S), QP(Geo), consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve design and technical issues related to temporary and permanent works.
- Plan and manage manpower deployment and shift rosters in accordance with project requirements and statutory regulations.
- Administer contracts in accordance with the Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC).
- Monitor construction progress, quality control, and compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Ensure adherence to Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations, project safety requirements, and airport operational procedures.
- Prepare and review site reports, progress updates, inspection records, and construction documentation.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore.
- Accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) of the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES).
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in civil and structural engineering, including at least 8 years on projects of similar scale and complexity.
- Proven experience in major building construction projects, structural steel works, and drainage works.
- Strong leadership experience in managing site supervision teams.
- Proficient in contract administration under PSSCOC.
- Good knowledge of statutory requirements, quality control procedures, construction administration, and site supervision practices.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and health standards.
