The Senior /Resident Physician will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to provide symptom management, clinical care, psychological, emotional and spiritual care to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads the team of nurses to provide medical consults to patients with advanced and progressive disease

  • Formulates and review care plans with multi-disciplinary team to maintain standards of care and ensures safety of patients

  • Assessment of new cases and performs on-call duties

Requirements:

  • Basic medical degree recognized by Singapore Medical Council

  • Minimum 4 years post-graduation medical school for Resident Physician

  • Be fully registered with the Singapore Medical Council and hold a current, valid Practising Certificate.

  • Experience working in palliative care settings is desirable but not essential as training will be provided

  • Demonstrates effective teamwork, upholds respect and integrity, and shows compassion with a strong commitment to excellence in the area of work.

  • Candidates with more years of experience will be considered for appointment as Senior Resident Physician.
