Senior Resident Physician / Resident Physician (Palliative Care)

Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 6.00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical consultations and symptom management for patients with advanced and progressive illnesses.
• Lead and work closely with nursing and multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.
• Assess newly admitted patients and formulate individualized care plans.
• Review and optimize treatment plans to ensure quality, safety and continuity of care.
• Participate in rostered on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

• Basic Medical Degree recognized by the Singapore Medical Council (SMC).
• Fully registered with the Singapore Medical Council with a valid Practicing Certificate.
• Minimum 4 years of post-graduate clinical experience for the Resident Physician position.
• Experience in Palliative Care, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics or related disciplines will be advantageous. Candidates without prior palliative care experience are welcome to apply, as structured training will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
• Demonstrates professionalism, integrity and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Candidates with more extensive clinical experience may be considered for the Senior Resident Physician position.

Eligibility

Applicants must be eligible to practice medicine in Singapore.
