Senior RF Systems Engineer

Toyon is seeking a Radio Frequency (RF) and Radar Systems Engineer with practical experience in both the design and test of RF and Radar Systems, including EW techniques and counter measures. An experienced RF/Radar systems engineer will have opportunities to support multiple projects across Toyon's Antenna/RF, RF Products, Advanced Algorithms, Autonomous Systems, and Aerospace Systems product area teams. Responsibilities
• Lead the design, development, and testing of complex RF and radar systems supporting EW, communications, navigation, and sensing missions
• Provide technical leadership in ES, EA, and EP system architecture, algorithm development, and performance optimization
• Direct advanced RF engineering efforts, including direction-finding, waveform design, STAP/SFAP processing, and multistatic radar system implementation
• Oversee system-level modeling, estimation, and sensor fusion analysis to guide design decisions and validate concepts
• Serve as a senior technical contributor across Antenna/RF, RF Products, Advanced Algorithms, Autonomous Systems, and Aerospace Systems teams.
• Mentor junior engineers, guide cross-functional collaboration, and ensure technical alignment across diverse project teams
• Lead development of innovative concepts, prototypes, and next-generation RF/EW capabilities through creative problem-solving and systems thinking
• Review and produce high-quality technical documentation, proposals, and presentations for internal leadership and external customers
• Drive integration strategies for complex RF subsystems and ensure successful system-level testing and verification
