Senior Rider Manager

Role Overview:

We are looking for a results-driven Senior Rider Manager to manage rider fleet operations, improve delivery efficiency, drive rider productivity and retention, and ensure seamless last-mile delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Rider Fleet Management: Manage rider availability, deployment, attendance, login hours, productivity, and retention across delivery hubs.

- Hiring & Onboarding: Coordinate rider hiring, documentation, training, and activation to meet operational requirements.

- Delivery Operations: Monitor delivery TAT, order allocation, on-time delivery, and delivery success rates; identify bottlenecks and implement improvements.

- Team Management: Lead Rider Team Leaders and ground operations teams, set performance targets, conduct reviews, and resolve rider grievances.

- Cost Optimization: Optimize rider utilization, incentives, and deployment while reducing idle time and cost per order.

- Performance Tracking: Monitor operational KPIs, maintain MIS reports, and use data to drive efficiency.

- Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with warehouse, customer support, recruitment, and central operations teams to resolve escalations and ensure smooth operations.

- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to company policies, rider safety standards, and operational processes.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Logistics, or a related field.

- 4 - 7 years of experience in rider/fleet management, logistics, e-commerce, or quick-commerce operations.

- Experience managing large rider teams and preferably multiple delivery hubs.

- Strong understanding of rider hiring, retention, attendance, productivity, and last-mile delivery operations.

- Proficiency in Excel, operational dashboards, and MIS reporting.

- Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
