The Work We Do

Teciem designs, builds, and delivers treasury and capital markets software solutions for financial institutions worldwide. We serve banks of every size and geography, offering the right setup for the right need.

Our solutions are designed to replace multiple disconnected systems with one complete, front-to-back platform, helping customers to capture trading and business opportunities quickly, clearly and with control. We cover the entire trading lifecycle, ensuring that everything - from execution to position keeping, to risk management – runs smoothly.

With decades of experience and one of the largest, most diverse client bases in the industry, we turn deep industry knowledge into software that covers most asset classes, meets complex real-world treasury and capital market's needs, and adapts as markets evolve.

Kondor UP is Teciem's strategic cloud programme delivering Kondor — our flagship front-to-back Treasury and Capital Markets platform — as a fully managed, evergreen SaaS service to global financial institutions. Built on AWS with a dedicated-account-per-tenant model, Kondor UP operates a multi-account landing zone, with per-tenant EKS clusters, private networking, strict compliance controls, and SLA commitments. As a Senior Run DevOps Engineer, you will be integrated into Teciem DevOps group and be on the front line of production operations: owning infrastructure reliability, managing incidents, maintaining IaC and product pipelines, and ensuring every tenant environment runs safely, predictably, and within SLA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own production infrastructure operations (InfraOps) across the full multi-account and multi-services AWS estate (AWS Control Tower / AFT, SCPs, IAM, KMS, VPC, Transit Gateway, EKS, RDS, MSK, ...)
  • Support and improve IaC (Terraform) across all layers: account vending, networking, EKS clusters, managed services (RDS SQL Server, MSK Kafka, Amazon MQ, MemoryDB for ValKey, Cognito, ...), and security tooling
  • Support and improve GitOps pipelines (ArgoCD ApplicationSets, IaC) used to deliver tenant environment changes safely to production
  • Support InfraOps and DevOps incident detection, triage, and resolution for production environments; own post-incident reviews and runbook updates
  • Monitor platform health via AMP, AMG, OpenTelemetry, and OpenSearch dashboards; respond to SLO breaches and error budget burn alerts
  • Support security posture: GuardDuty, Inspector, Istio mTLS, Kyverno policies, SIEM alerting, and SOC 2 / ISO 27001 compliance controls
  • Strong collaboration with Run teams (NetOps, AppOps, FinOps, SecOps and SRE) on case management, monitoring, improvements, capacity planning, security, performance tuning and Infrastructure patch/upgrade cycles.
  • Collaborate with Build teams (R&D, DevOps) to feed the continuous improvement cycle.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years in a DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure role

  • 2+ years operating production workloads on AWS at scale (multi-account strongly preferred)

  • Proven incident management experience: on-call rotations, post-mortems, runbook authoring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

Technical Skills

  • Deep hands-on AWS expertise: EKS, VPC/TGW/Network Firewall, IAM, KMS, RDS, MSK, Amazon MQ, MemoryDB, S3, Cognito, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Inspector
  • Infrastructure as Code with Terraform (modules, remote state, workspace-per-account patterns); AWS Control Tower / AFT a strong plus
  • Kubernetes operations: cluster upgrades, Karpenter, Istio service mesh, Kyverno policy enforcement, ArgoCD GitOps
  • Networking fundamentals: BGP/routing, DNS, TLS/mTLS, firewall rules, VPN/Direct Connect troubleshooting
  • Observability stack: OpenTelemetry, Prometheus/AMP, Grafana/AMG, OpenSearch; SLO/error budget disciplines
  • Pipeline operations and support: ArgoCD, Git-based change workflows
  • Scripting and automation: Python and Shell for operational tooling and runbook automation
  • Security operations awareness: SIEM, SAST/SCA, container scanning, SOC 2 / ISO 27001 controls

Soft Skills

  • Production-first mindset: you treat reliability and security as non-negotiable constraints, not afterthoughts
  • Clear, structured communicator — able to write concise incident reports, runbooks, and status updates for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Comfortable in a follow-the-sun on-call model across multicultural teams (Europe, US, Asia)
  • Collaborative and pragmatic: able to balance speed of response with disciplined change management
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
