Summary

Build and optimize high-performance trading APIs in Rust, handling real-time WebSocket feeds, state consistency, and low-latency systems for crypto trading.

You will design, implement, and optimize high-performance trading APIs over HTTP and WebSocket. You will build real-time ingestion pipelines, model trading data, manage WebSocket feeds, maintain state consistency, and instrument production systems for observability, low latency, resilience, and correctness under load.

Responsibilities

  • Own the architecture of high-performance trading APIs
  • Implement structured concurrency with Tokio
  • Process append-only trading logs
  • Rebuild local state from snapshots and diffs
  • Model orders, fills, trades, positions, funding, and liquidation logic
  • Implement WebSocket upgrades, frame parsing, and data fanout
  • Design observable backend systems
  • Improve performance, scalability, and fault tolerance
  • Write unit, integration, and load tests
