Senior S4Hana Project Manager

About the role:

We are seeking a senior S4Hana project manager based in the UAE to lead end-to-end SAP S/4Hana implementation projects. The successful candidate will bring 12-14 years of experience managing large-scale ERP initiatives, deep technical expertise in testing and data migration, and strong leadership skills to drive business readiness, training, and operational handover.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and govern system integration testing (SIT) phases
• Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) activities and ensure timely issue resolution
• Develop and execute end-to-end testing strategies, including regression testing
• Lead data cleansing and preparation activities for migration readiness
• Manage and supervise mock migrations to validate data integrity and system performance
• Conduct reconciliation activities to ensure accurate data migration and configuration
• Design and implement business readiness plans, including change management and communication
• Coordinate and deliver training sessions for end-users and key stakeholders
• Facilitate smooth operational handover to support and operations teams
• Monitor project progress, manage risks and issues, and ensure adherence to budget and timelines
• Engage stakeholders across business and IT functions to align project objectives
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, status reports, and governance artifacts

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or related field
• 12-14 years of hands-on experience managing SAP S/4Hana implementation projects
• Proven expertise in governing SIT, UAT, and end-to-end testing processes
• Strong technical skills in data cleansing, mock migrations, and reconciliation
• Experience developing and executing business readiness and training programs
• Demonstrated ability to manage operational handover and post-go-live support
• Excellent project management skills with proficiency in PM tools and methodologies
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-cultural environments in the UAE

Preferred qualifications:

• PMP, PRINCE2, or SAP Activate certification
• Previous experience managing S/4Hana projects in the UAE or Middle East
• Knowledge of local regulatory requirements and business practices
• Arabic language proficiency
• Advanced degree (MBA or master’s in relevant field)
• Experience with Agile and hybrid project delivery approaches
