Senior Sales Director - Brazil

Reporting to the Sr. VP Operations Latin America the Senior Sales Director is responsible to develop sales strategies and execution plans to achieve annual revenue and profit goals, will lead the sales team, and manage the selling activities of the group, sales team development and resource allocation. This is a hybrid position that is expected to work based in Louveira, SP Brasil office and travel up to 40% of the time.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic growth plans to achieve corporate goals.
Review individual and team sales funnel performance, increasing overall pipeline size, win rate, and velocity through the sales process.
Develop strong understanding of MCC end markets to effectively access individual customer needs and incorporate knowledge into sales strategies.
Direct business development activity and coordinate appropriate coverage for both current and prospective customers by establishing account assignments, sales territories, quotas, and goals.
Meet with key clients to assist sales representatives and foster customer relationships.
Create and deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
Develop customer-pricing strategies to optimize sales conversions in a manner consistent with corporate financial goals.
Negotiate large-scale sales opportunities and long-term supply agreements.
Review monthly revenue and profit results and provide summary analysis for the executive team.
Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and the current portfolio.
Review the collection status of assigned clients and collaborate with the collections department to ensure a healthy portfolio.
Direct selling activities and set individual performance goals of sales team members.
Develop annual sales forecast and budget for each sales team member and customer within group.
Develop salespeople to maintain a strong bench and promote future growth. As well Select and hire new talent when necessary.
Promote personnel development through daily engagement, periodic business reviews, and formal annual performance reviews.
Coordinate sales activities with other MCC departments.
Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition and other related packaging suppliers.
Recommend ideas for capital investment and R&D efforts.
Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products and services.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

The Sales Director manages a team of Key Account Managers, Sales Executives, and direct sales representatives.
The Sales Director exercises supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include achieving financial targets; interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; handling complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing or related field.
10 years proven work experience in outside sales management leading multidisciplinary sales teams.
Exceptional account management.
Experience with print and/or packaging industry serving the food, beverage, pharma, personal & home care markets.
Well versed in Salesforce CRM and MS Office 365.
Bilingual, fluent in Portuguese and English. Spanish desirable.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Must be able to travel up to 50%.
