Senior / Sales Engineer
Summary
Senior Sales Engineer selling high-performance elastomer sealing products to semiconductor manufacturers and equipment makers, building customer relationships and driving new business in Singapore and SEA.
We are looking for a motivated and technically capable Senior / Sales Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing customer relationships, driving new business opportunities, and providing technical solutions to customers in the semiconductor industry.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with semiconductor manufacturers and equipment manufacturers through regular customer visits and communication.
- Identify new business opportunities, develop new customer accounts, and expand existing accounts by understanding customer requirements and future projects.
- Promote high-performance elastomer sealing products, primarily O-rings, and recommend suitable solutions based on customer needs.
- Monitor market trends, customer activities, projects, competitor products, and industry developments to identify sales opportunities.
- Manage sales activities, including customer follow-ups, quotations, sales forecasts, reports, and order status.
- Monitor customer requirements, stock levels, and inventory, and coordinate with relevant internal teams as required.
- Liaise with counterparts in Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Vietnam, and the U.S. to support customer and business requirements.
- Support sales and marketing activities and provide regular sales and market updates to management.
- Travel within Singapore and the SEA region as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Japanese-speaking ability
- Relevant working experience in the semiconductor industry
- Proven sales and business development capabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, independent, and able to multi-tasks
Preferred / Advantageous
- Experience working for a Japanese company or with Japanese customers
- Experience with seals, rubber, elastomer, or oil & gas products
- Diploma or higher qualification, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Valid Class 3 driving license
- Willingness to travel within Asia when required
Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays; 8.30am to 5.30pm
