Senior Sales Executive - Business Development
Green Harvest Pte Ltd is a high-tech hydroponics vegetable farm in Singapore, supplying fresh leafy vegetables to retail supermarkets, HORECA customers, wet markets, food-service customers and other sales channels.
We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Senior Sales Executive — Business Development to support business growth by developing new customers, strengthening customer relationships, supporting new product launches and converting customer opportunities into actual sales. This role is suitable for someone who enjoys customer-facing work, is confident in follow-up and wants to be directly involved in growing a local fresh produce brand.
Job Summary
You will be responsible for identifying customer opportunities, approaching new leads, following up with buyers and customers, supporting new SKU launches, conducting customer visits, collecting market feedback and supporting customer-facing events.
You should be confident in approaching customers, arranging product sampling, following up with chefs and buyers, supporting new product listings, coordinating with external designers where required, and keeping customer progress properly documented.
Responsibilities
1. New Customer & Channel Development
Identify and approach new customers and sales channels, including HORECA customers, restaurant groups, food-service operators, central kitchens, caterers, specialty retailers, online platforms and other suitable customers
Develop new customer leads through customer visits, calls, referrals, events, market research and buyer follow-ups
Arrange customer meetings, product presentations and product sampling where required
Follow up with potential customers on product interest, pricing discussion, sample feedback and next steps
Maintain a proper customer pipeline with customer name, contact person, channel type, discussion status, last follow-up date and next action
Support management in developing new sales channels and customer opportunities
Ensure all customer discussions, pricing matters, credit terms, free stock, discounts or commercial commitments are approved by management before confirmation
2. Existing Retail Account Development & New SKU Launch Support
Support new product launches and new SKU listings with existing supermarket and retail customers
Follow up with buyers on listing requirements, samples, product information, packaging, barcode, pricing and launch timeline
Coordinate internally to ensure required product information, pricing, samples and product details are prepared for customers
Support the launch of new SKUs or new product formats with existing retail customers
Follow up after launch to confirm buyer feedback, repeat order potential and any issue with product presentation, pricing, packaging or supply
Ensure all product design, packaging, pricing and listing commitments are reviewed and approved by management before confirmation
Provide regular updates to management on listing progress, buyer feedback and pending launch actions
3. Product Design, Packaging & Launch Coordination
Work with management and external designers on product label, box, packaging, POSM and artwork matters where required
Provide customer, buyer and market feedback to support product design and packaging decisions
Track the status of new product artwork, label, packaging and listing requirements until completion
Support product launch preparation, including customer samples, product information, label details, packaging feedback and buyer follow-up
Ensure product design and packaging matters are aligned with customer requirements and management’s direction
4. Customer Visits, Market Audit & Product Feedback
Conduct regular customer visits, retail trade visits, HORECA visits and market checks
Check product display, shelf condition, shelf-life, cold-chain handling, customer satisfaction and outlet-level feedback
Monitor competitor products, pricing, packaging, quality, display and promotional activities
Gather feedback from buyers, chefs, purchasing teams, outlet staff and customers
Take photos and provide clear market observations where useful
Follow up on opportunities identified during visits, including potential new customers, new listings, new SKU opportunities or improved product positioning
Report quality, packaging, stock movement, display or customer concerns to management for follow-up
5. Event & Customer-Facing Support
Support company participation in customer-facing events such as FHA, farmers markets, trade shows, sampling activities and other sales-related events

Coordinate booth setup, product display, customer engagement, buyer enquiries and lead collection during events
Support product sampling and customer explanation during events
Collect and record potential customer leads from events
Follow up with potential customers and leads generated from events
Provide post-event updates on customer interest, useful contacts, feedback received and possible sales opportunities
6. Sales Support & Internal Coordination
Work closely with management, sales coordinators, and operation team to support customer follow-up and new business opportunities
Ensure customer information, buyer contacts, pricing discussions, sample records, product feedback and follow-up actions are properly documented
Escalate important customer issues, pricing requests, supply concerns, listing matters or delivery-related concerns to management
Support basic sales coordination when required, but the main focus of the role is business development and customer growth
Maintain professionalism when dealing with customers, buyers, suppliers, external designers and internal team members
Ensure company information, customer information, supplier information, pricing and internal commercial matters remain confidential
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of sales, business development &/or customer-facing experience
Experience in fresh produce, FMCG, food service, supermarket, retail, HORECA or restaurant channels will be an advantage
Comfortable approaching new customers and following up on leads
Able to communicate professionally with buyers, chefs, purchasing teams, restaurant operators, retailers and food-service customers
Strong follow-up discipline and ability to manage multiple pending matters
Able to conduct customer visits, trade visits, market checks and event support when required
Basic knowledge of Google Sheets / Excel, email, WhatsApp and management reporting
Able to coordinate with internal teams and external designers for new product launch matters
Candidates with own vehicle will be preferred due to customer visits, sample-related travel and field-based sales activities
Must be organized, proactive and willing to work in a hands-on fresh produce environment
