Senior Sales Operations Specialist (North Central)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Sales Operations Specialist (North Central) based in United States.

As a Senior Sales Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting regional sales teams and ensuring smooth execution across the opportunity and order lifecycle.
You will act as a key liaison between Account Executives, customers, business partners, Accounting, Contracts, and other internal stakeholders.
The role combines sales support, CRM management, forecasting, pipeline analysis, quoting, order processing, and commercial problem-solving.
You will help maintain accurate sales data and forecasts while identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and team performance.
You will also contribute to onboarding and supporting Account Executives while serving as a resource for day-to-day questions across the Sales Operations organization.
Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Serve as a liaison between external business partners, Account Executives, Accounting, Contracts, and customers to facilitate and track orders.
  • Support both new business and renewal opportunities throughout the sales and order lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce data to support reliable forecasting, reporting, and opportunity management.
  • Generate customer quotes, track opportunities, and process orders using Salesforce.
  • Develop creative pricing and payment solutions that balance customer requirements with established pricing policies.
  • Participate in regional forecast calls and conduct pipeline analysis to improve forecast accuracy and visibility.
  • Monitor regional opportunities closely and maintain awareness of pipeline activity, deal progression, and sales requirements.
  • Provide day-to-day support to Sales Operations leadership and respond to questions from Sales Operations team members.
  • Assist Sales Directors and Sales Operations leadership with onboarding new Account Executives and guiding them through processes, procedures, and best practices.
  • Partner with leadership to identify and implement process improvements that increase operational efficiency and enhance deliverables.
  • Build and maintain knowledge of products, cybersecurity solutions, industry developments, vendor resources, and available security services.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external inquiries.
  • Apply sound judgment and organizational policies when managing sales operations activities and commercial requests.
  • Contribute to additional operational initiatives and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Requirements:

    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Demonstrated success in a Sales Operations Specialist or comparable sales support role.
    • Prior experience working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software required.
    • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet-based business tools.
    • Experience in technical sales, sales support, and outbound calling required.
    • Strong ability to prioritize and multitask while maintaining accuracy and follow-through.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to completing tasks and resolving issues.
    • Solid mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate margins, discounts, and percentages.
    • Strong analytical judgment and the ability to evaluate information and make commercially sound decisions.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business and customer needs.
    • Demonstrated willingness to learn and effectively use AI-enabled tools.
    • 5+ years of experience in a corporate sales support environment is preferred.
    • 1–2 years of experience in the IT industry is preferred.
    • Associate degree or equivalent education from a two-year college or technical school is preferred.
    • Experience using Salesforce is preferred.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with sales, operations, customers, vendors, and internal business partners.
    • Ability to travel up to 10% as needed.
    • Ability to perform sedentary work and maintain substantial use of wrists, hands, and fingers during extended periods of computer-based work.
    • Ability to maintain close visual acuity for computer-based work and extensive reading for extended periods.
