As a Senior Salesforce Business Analyst at Index, you will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, analyze, and translate business needs into clear and actionable requirements. Leveraging your deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, features, and capabilities, you will serve as a bridge between end users and development teams, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and user expectations. This role also requires strong Agile experience as you'll collaborate within and across Scrum teams to support backlog refinement, user story development, and iterative delivery. We're seeking a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can lead discovery efforts, define solutions, and help teams stay focused on delivering value.
Responsibilities
- Identify, analyze, and validate client business needs and Salesforce application requirements by facilitating requirements‑gathering sessions, defining product vision, and documenting business, functional, and system requirements, process flows, and system changes.
- Serve as a primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers, ensuring alignment on expectations, deliverables, priorities, risks, and upstream/downstream dependencies through clear, consistent communication.
- Translate requirements into executable delivery artifacts by writing and prioritizing user stories, features, epics, and program backlogs, and clearly communicating requirements to developers, testers, and stakeholders.
- Support end‑to‑end solution delivery and quality assurance, including UAT and post‑deployment testing, demonstration of product functionality to stakeholders, and validation that implemented solutions meet defined business requirements.
- Drive program execution, transparency, and continuous improvement by tracking and communicating project metrics, progress, risks, impediments, and dependencies, and applying feedback and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
- Enable adoption and change management through effective change practices, creation of Salesforce training materials and user guides, and ongoing stakeholder engagement.
- Ensure Salesforce solutions align with governance, compliance, and strategic direction, evaluating and recommending new Salesforce tools or integrations as appropriate.
