Senior Salesforce Developer / Technical Lead

Salary: $170,000 package (neg)

Our client is a large, well established professional services firm; supporting a clientele of 31,000 small and medium sized businesses

They are a commercially successful company that provides expert advice, consulting services and technology solutions that enables their customers to confidently operate and grow their organisations

Role Description:

The Salesforce team is delivering multiple projects and enhancements to uplift customer services, manage sales prospecting pipelines, improve business operations and create improved digital experiences

This role is primarily focused on hands-on Salesforce development and project delivery - working across the design, build, testing and deployment of new Salesforce capabilities, as well asa providing guidance to the team

Working in close collaboration with the Salesforce technical team, Business Analysts and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and high quality Salesforce solutions that are aligned to business and technical requirements

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC and Flows
• Design and implement application components, data models, and integration solutions
• Participate actively in technical discussions to clarify requirements, estimate effort, identify dependencies and support testing and delivery planning
• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain high quality software solutions
• Contribute to technical design decisions, provide peer support through code reviews and help improve development processes
• Identify technical issues and risks and contribute to code reviews, testing activities and quality assurance processes
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical colleagues to ensure shared understanding of requirements, technical constraints and proposed solutions
• Support deployment, go-live activities, data migration, and system transition activities to ensure successful implementations

Skills and Experience:

• Strong hands‑on experience with Apex and Lightning Web Components
• Solid understanding of platform limits performance and security
• Proven end-end Salesforce design and development experience -delivering multiple new application builds and enhancement work
• Cloud & Service Cloud expertise - building customer facing portals and service solutions and customisation, and automation to support complex service journeys
• Experience designing and implementing integrations using Salesforce APIs
• Strong communication, problem solving, and documentation skills
• Cross functional collaboration skills and experience working in Agile delivery environments
• Experience providing guidance to team members
• Must have a good commercial bent and understand business processes
• Experience applying AI responsibly within use cases an advantage (not essential)
