Senior Salesforce Engineer
About CREtelligent
CREtelligent builds the SaaS platform that powers commercial real estate environmental due diligence, turning property, parcel, and risk data into the reports and workflows lenders, investors, and consultants rely on. Our team is collaborative, hands-on, and growing, and we look for people who want real ownership and a direct line to the decisions that shape the product.
About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Salesforce Engineer to help design, build, and improve the Salesforce platform that supports our business. You will work closely with operations, product, technology, and business teams to turn real workflow problems into clean, scalable Salesforce solutions. You will build in Apex, Flow, and Lightning Web Components, support integrations with other systems, and help us explore practical ways to use Salesforce Agentforce and AI-assisted workflows with the right human oversight. A major early focus is consolidating our operational systems onto Salesforce and modernizing the platform that supports them — a substantial, ownable initiative for someone who likes taking a system from its current state to where it needs to be. You would own Salesforce here: the architecture, the roadmap, and the build are yours, with implementation support from a partner in the early phases and admin support from the team. And the surface area is growing — as we move our CRM onto Salesforce, expand into Marketing Cloud, and migrate more of our service operations onto the platform, this is a function we expect to build out over time. This is a hands-on builder role for someone who likes solving business problems, improving systems, and creating tools that people actually use.
How We Work
We're an AI-forward team. AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Copilot, and friends are part of our everyday toolkit. We use them to move fast on the first 80%, then bring engineering judgment to the part that actually matters: reviewing the output, writing the tests, and proving it's correct before it ships. We want builders who are fluent with these tools and know when not to trust them. AI accelerates the work; it doesn't replace the thinking.
What You’ll Do
- Build and customize Salesforce solutions using Apex, Flow, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce configuration
- Lead the migration of operational workflows from existing systems into Salesforce, taking the initiative end-to-end from design through rollout
- Evolve our existing Salesforce org — refactoring the data model, automations, and architecture toward current best practices to support that growth
- Create custom objects, data models, automations, permissions, and workflows that can scale with the business
- Integrate Salesforce with other systems using REST or SOAP APIs and middleware
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and turn them into working solutions
- Troubleshoot issues across Salesforce, integrations, data, and business processes
- Help evaluate and adopt Salesforce Agentforce and other AI-assisted tools in a thoughtful, human-in-the-loop way
- Keep data quality, security, maintainability, and platform health in mind with everything you build
