Senior SAP ABAP Developer (all genders)

In this role, you will shape and optimize master data management within a dynamic fashion/retail environment. Your work will directly impact data quality, operational efficiency, and system integration across multiple product teams, enabling scalable and future-ready retail processes.

Your Responsibilities

• Drive complex ABAP development within the Retail MDM domain

• Design, implement, and maintain custom master data logic, validation frameworks, and lifecycle processes

• Harmonize and optimize retail master data models (articles, suppliers, sites, assortments, listings, pricing, etc.)

• Improve data quality, consistency, and automation across master data processes

• Contribute to multiple product teams as part of a shared, cross-functional development setup

• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards

• Implement and enhance integration scenarios (IDoc, OData, RFC, APIs, event-driven architectures)

Your Qualifications

• Proven experience as an ABAP Developer, ideally in SAP S/4HANA environments

• Strong proficiency in modern ABAP programming, including RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)

• Solid understanding of Master Data Management processes in the fashion retail industry

• Experience working in Agile development environments and familiarity with SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 is a plus

• Structured, proactive, and ownership-driven working style with strong communication skills

• Ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams with very good English skills; basic German is a plus
