About the Role:
Peoplebank is seeking a Senior SAP Business Objects (BO) Infrastructure Engineer to support and enhance an enterprise reporting platform in a large, security-conscious environment.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and operate the SAP BO platform (install/configure/upgrade; health, uptime, capacity, performance).
- Monitor jobs, failures, usage, and refresh schedules; troubleshoot and optimise.
- Manage users/roles/permissions and implement security/governance controls (incl. sensitive dataset access).
- Manage content and data sources (publish/certify, promote across environments where available, archive non-compliant items).
- Provide technical support and onboarding; produce documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
- Support audit/compliance reporting and collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendor support.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP Business Objects administration (platform operations, security, content management).
- Proven capability in infrastructure operations across physical/virtual/network/cloud environments.
- Experience with performance tuning and capacity/availability practices.
- Strong documentation, stakeholder engagement, and support skills.
- SFIA-aligned capability preferred: Availability Mgmt (L5), Capacity Mgmt (L4), IT Infrastructure (L4), Systems Installation/Removal (L5).
- Exposure to other BI/reporting tools is beneficial.
