Senior SAP Data Migration Project Manager

• Lead end-to-end data migration for a major SAP S/4HANA transformation

We’re looking for an experienced SAP Data Migration Project Manager to lead end-to-end data migration activities across a major SAP transformation program.

This is a highly visible, customer-facing role where you’ll act as the primary point of accountability for data migration, working across business stakeholders, data owners, technical teams and SAP functional consultants. You’ll bring structure to a complex migration program, drive readiness and ensure migration activities remain on track through to cutover and Go-Live.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the end-to-end SAP data migration workstream.
• Act as the key point of contact for all customer data migration activities.
• Lead workshops and stakeholder discussions covering migration scope, approach, readiness and risks.
• Establish clear ownership across migration objects and functional streams.
• Coordinate migration activities across Finance, Sales and Procurement.
• Manage migration plans, RAID logs, dependencies, risks and program-level reporting.
• Work closely with SAP functional consultants to drive data quality and migration readiness.
• Coordinate migration activities within the broader SAP delivery and sprint cadence.
• Lead cutover planning, dress rehearsals and Go-Live migration execution.
• Provide clear updates to senior stakeholders and proactively manage expectations and competing priorities.

Skills Required:

• 5+ years’ experience managing data migration across large-scale SAP ERP implementations.
• Strong SAP S/4HANA experience, ideally across Public or Private Cloud environments.
• Hands-on understanding of SAP Migration Cockpit and SAP Data Services.
• Proven experience managing complex, multi-object data migrations across multiple SAP functional domains.
• Strong customer-facing and senior stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to confidently chair executive discussions and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
• Strong understanding of migration governance, planning, data quality, readiness and cutover.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical migration issues for business stakeholders.

Highly regarded:

• SAP Activate methodology experience.
• Exposure to SAP Cloud ALM, LeanIX and Signavio.
• Understanding of enterprise data governance and data ownership frameworks.
