Senior SAP FI Consultant 100% Remote | B2B | 100% FTE

For a global FMCG company, we are looking for a highly experienced Senior SAP FI Consultant to support a strategic SAP transformation programme related to the integration of a business unit following a change of ownership.

Project scope

The project involves creating a new Company Code for a market unit in the target SAP system and transferring existing financial processes and data from one SAP environment to another.

The consultant will take ownership of the SAP Finance workstream, ensuring that existing processes are correctly replicated, adapted and integrated into the target SAP landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse existing SAP FI processes and configuration.

• Support the design and implementation of the new Company Code.

• Configure and adapt financial processes in the target SAP system.

• Support the transition of financial data and processes between SAP environments.

• Work across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting and bank accounting.

• Define organisational structures, posting rules and financial master data requirements.

• Manage integration dependencies with SAP SD, MM, CO, Supply Chain and external systems.

• Support data migration, reconciliation and financial validation.

• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate required system changes.

• Support end-to-end testing, cutover, go-live and post-go-live stabilisation.

• Identify process gaps, risks and required business decisions.

• Cooperate with global and local Finance stakeholders.
  
  

Requirements

• 8+ years of SAP FI experience.

• Strong knowledge of end-to-end financial processes.

• Experience with SAP rollouts, migrations, carve-in, carve-out or SAP-to-SAP transitions.

• Practical experience with Company Code implementation or organisational structure changes.

• Strong SAP FI configuration skills.

• Good understanding of integration with SAP CO, SD, MM and Supply Chain processes.

• Experience with financial data migration, reconciliation and testing.

• Experience supporting cutover, go-live and hypercare.

• Ability to independently lead the SAP FI workstream.

• Fluent English.

• Experience in the FMCG, retail or manufacturing sector.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.

• Knowledge of tax, banking, intercompany and statutory reporting processes.

• Experience with global template rollouts.

• B2B contract

• 100% FTE / full-time availability required

• Start: mid-July

• Initial duration: until the end of January

• Long-term programme with rollouts planned until the end of 2028

• Further SAP S/4HANA transformation expected
