Senior SAP FICO Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Own SAP FI/CO design and configuration standards covering GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost Centre, Profit Centre and Internal Orders.
• Lead CO/PA and Profit Centre structure design in line with management reporting requirements.
• Review and challenge Systems Integrator (SI) design proposals to ensure alignment with accounting policies and business requirements.
• Support intercompany accounting design across multiple company codes and future country rollouts.
• Review and support product costing design in line with MTO and MTS manufacturing processes.
• Work closely with SD, MM, PP and QM teams to ensure proper end-to-end integration and accounting treatment.
• Review blueprint/design documentation, functional specifications, RICEFW requirements and legacy system interfaces.
• Conduct workshops with Business Process Owners and translate finance requirements into SAP solutions and process documentation.
• Support UAT, cutover and post-go-live hypercare activities.
• Support month-end closing activities.
• Contribute to future SAP Group Reporting and consolidation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, IT or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of SAP FI/CO functional experience.
• At least 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
• Strong hands-on configuration experience across GL, AP/AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Centre, Profit Centre, Internal Orders and CO-PA.
• Experience with Product Costing (CO-PC) and CO-IO.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Universal Journal (ACDOCA).
• Experience integrating FI/CO with MM, SD, PP and QM in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with intercompany accounting and multi-company-code environments.
• Prior experience working alongside a Systems Integrator / implementation partner in an internal or end-user environment.
• Experience with SAP Group Reporting or consolidation tools will be advantageous.
• SAP FI/CO certification is highly preferred.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA / CPA will be an added advantage.
