Senior SAP GRC Consultant

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced IT Governance professional to join our team, managing IT governance for a portfolio of enterprise systems. You'll take ownership of service management, security, compliance, and incident response — working closely with stakeholders to keep systems running smoothly and meeting all regulatory and contractual requirements.

This role suits someone who thrives on hands-on delivery and operational transformation, with strong vendor and stakeholder management experience.

What You'll Do

Service Management
Monitor and report on SLA/KPI performance for your assigned systems. Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, operations managers, and contractors on delivery and support matters. Provide regular updates on operational and compliance issues, along with proposed resolutions. Prepare monthly reports on system health, risks, and change/service requests. Lead and participate in governance meetings (change control, operations reviews, service reviews, audits). Support project teams during audits, disaster recovery, and backup/recovery exercises. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen governance, efficiency, and quality. Prepare and submit annual management plans.

Configuration Management
Periodically review IT asset inventories (hardware, software, network equipment, endpoints). Monitor technology obsolescence risk and flag potential issues early. Prepare and submit related reports.

Incident Management
Lead investigation and resolution of incidents. Conduct root cause analysis and recommend improvements for recurring issues. Ensure proper sign-off and documentation for incident closure.

IT Security Management
Schedule and oversee security scans, ensuring vulnerabilities are remediated. Conduct weekly reviews of system access and administration activity, reporting anything suspicious. Track and manage security patch deployment against defined timelines, with monthly reporting. Ensure systems stay current with security and antivirus updates. Escalate and seek approval for assessed risks.

IT Security Compliance & QA
Ensure systems comply with applicable standards, policies, and guidelines. Review and report compliance status annually. Support audits by coordinating evidence and responses with stakeholders. Develop rectification plans for audit findings and compliance gaps, and pursue waivers where justified. Maintain up-to-date documentation and quality assurance records for audit readiness. Work with teams to implement system changes required by policy or audit outcomes.

What We're Looking For

Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. 5+ years of IT experience, including 3+ years in IT project management; PMP or CITPM certification preferred. Experience implementing or supporting ERP systems, ideally SAP. Experience with SAP GRC (certification a plus). Vendor management experience. Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude. Able to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver quality results on time.
