Senior SAP HANA Cloud Developer

We're currently looking for a well-rounded SAP HANA Cloud Developer to join our organization. In this position, you'll take responsibility for designing and sustaining leading-edge data models, pipelines, and backend frameworks that support demanding business processes and analytics needs across manufacturing, engineering, and operations contexts. Responsibilities

• Create, build, and sustain scalable, dependable data models developed natively within SAP HANA Cloud
• Examine and reconstruct existing logic and workflows from platforms such as Databricks, Alteryx, and KNIME into efficient, native SAP HANA Cloud solutions
• Conduct detailed performance reviews, query optimization efforts, memory footprint reduction, and execution plan evaluations to ensure sub-second latency across large operational datasets
• Maintain and refine backend services that support enterprise applications, with emphasis on HADES list apps and downstream reporting engines
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and engineering stakeholders to turn complex operational needs into precise technical specifications
• Establish standards for HANA modeling, code review practices, and CI/CD data lifecycle management, while supporting team members' growth and reinforcing standard operating procedures
• Proactively identify architectural bottlenecks and edge-case concerns before they affect operational pipelines

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related quantitative background
• A minimum of 3 years of applicable, hands-on experience
• Working knowledge and direct experience with HANA Cloud, with HA300 training completion seen as favorable
• Background translating Databricks, Alteryx, or KNIME models into a HANA Cloud setting
• Experience with optimization work specific to HANA Cloud
• Hands-on involvement with HADES list apps
• Comfortable collaborating with business analysts to convert business needs into functional technical solutions
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset
• Upper-Intermediate English language competency (B2)
