Senior SAP HANA Cloud Developer

We have an opening for a skilled SAP HANA Cloud Developer to join our team. This role centers on building and sustaining modern data models, pipelines, and backend solutions that support complex business operations and analytics requirements within manufacturing, engineering, and operations environments. Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and robust data models created natively on SAP HANA Cloud
• Review and rework existing logic and workflows coming from external platforms such as Databricks, Alteryx, and KNIME into high-performing, native SAP HANA Cloud outputs
• Perform extensive performance investigations, query optimization, memory footprint improvements, and execution plan evaluations to deliver sub-second latency on extensive operational datasets
• Keep backend services supporting enterprise applications well-maintained and optimized, with specific attention to HADES list apps and downstream reporting engines
• Work in tandem with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and engineering stakeholders to turn complex operational requirements into technical specifications
• Set and promote best practices for HANA modeling, code reviews, and CI/CD data lifecycle processes, while mentoring team members and reinforcing standard operating procedures
• Identify architectural weaknesses and edge-case scenarios early to prevent impact on operational pipelines

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a similar quantitative discipline
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Hands-on knowledge of HANA Cloud, with completed HA300 training viewed as an added benefit
• Experience converting Databricks, Alteryx, or KNIME models to function within HANA Cloud
• Experience applying optimization techniques specific to HANA Cloud
• Background working with HADES list apps
• Skilled in working alongside business analysts to convert business requirements into technical solutions
• A proactive stance toward identifying and resolving issues
• Upper-Intermediate English language competency (B2)
