Senior SAP PLM Consultant

Candidate must be local.

Responsibilities:
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and creating formulas to get data in the necessary format
• Knowledge of SAP Product Lifecycle Management, including:
• PLM Recipes
• PLM Specifications
• PLM Documents
• SAP Bill of Materials
• SAP Master Recipe Structure
• SAP Quality Inspection Plans
• Perform data analysis and determine solutions to meet the business’s needs
• Act as primary point-of-contact for varying levels of the business (project sponsors down to plant users) on PDM data management deliverables and issues
• Maintain relationship with Business Architect to:
• Ensure alignment
• Anticipate needs
• Provide background and potential next steps
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Coordinate with IT SAP PLM – PDM Analyst on information needed to follow IT Change Advisory Board process
• Respond to emails as frequently as needed to ensure leadership, business and project team members are in the loop and understand the status & turnaround dates of activities to completion / issues to resolution
• Participate in weekly project and production support review meetings and come prepared to speak to the status of data activities and issues
• Lead data collection, mapping, load, and validation efforts and coordinate with validators
• Initiate communication via appropriate method (email, phone, meeting) as needed to complete a task/resolve an issue
• Ensure quality deliverables on time that meet the business’s requirements
• Be prepared to provide status at any given time, including stats (# completed, in process, not started, etc.) and target turnaround times
• Advanced troubleshooting skills
• Escalate issues and risks, including impact to the data area
• Ability to travel 2-3 weeks per month to co-locate with PLM team and based on project and production support needs

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related IT discipline
• Must have at least 15 years of SAP experience.
• Must have 10+ years relevant professional experience in SAP PLM-PDM
• Must be willing to flex work hours accordingly to support application launches and manage production outages if necessary
• Ability to multitask with numerous projects and responsibilities
• Must have experience working in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able and willing to participate as individual contributor as needed
• Must have ability to work the time necessary to complete projects and/or meet deadlines
