Senior SAP Project Manager (m/f)

ARHS Group, part of Accenture, is looking for an experienced Senior SAP Project Manager to join one of our client teams in Luxembourg within a public sector environment.

In this role, you will lead SAP S/4HANA transformation and modernization projects, contributing to the evolution of SAP solutions with a focus on SAP standards, SAP Fiori, integrations, and future cloud adoption. Working closely with the Program Manager and multidisciplinary teams, you will oversee project delivery from initiation to deployment, ensuring effective governance, stakeholder coordination, and successful implementation.

THE WORK:

• Lead SAP S/4HANA projects end-to-end, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, budgets, resources, and success criteria.

• Coordinate business, functional, technical, security, architecture, and external delivery teams.

• Establish project governance, organize project meetings, workshops, and steering committees.

• Monitor project progress, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and changes, ensuring effective reporting and escalation.

• Manage project deviations, propose corrective actions, and support decision-making.

• Coordinate testing activities, defect management, go/no-go decisions, cutover, deployment, and hypercare.

• Ensure the quality, completeness, traceability, and acceptance of project deliverables.

• Coordinate project documentation, training, knowledge transfer, and project closure.

• Maintain project plans, dashboards, risk registers, and decision logs using project management tools.

Onsite at client site: This role requires an onsite presence with our clients and partners to support project delivery and strengthen collaboration.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience managing SAP S/4HANA projects, including at least three recent comparable SAP project management assignments.

• Advanced knowledge of predictive, Agile, or hybrid project management methodologies, such as PRINCE2 or Agile.

• Strong experience in project planning, workload management, budgeting, milestones, RACI matrices, and governance.

• Proven ability to manage project risks, issues, actions, decisions, and changes.

• At least 3 years of experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, integrations, and authorizations, at an intermediate level or above.

• Advanced experience coordinating testing, defect management, go/no-go decisions, cutover, and hypercare activities.

• Strong experience in project governance, steering committees, reporting, and decision-making processes.

• Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external service providers.

• Strong focus on the quality, completeness, and traceability of project deliverables.

• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

• Professional proficiency in both French and English is mandatory.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

• Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

• Experience with SAP cloud transformation or migration projects.
