We're looking for a Software Engineer (Scala) who can start on short notice on a high-impact modernization project.

🚀 What you'll be doing
✅ Translate product/architecture requirements into clear technical specs and implementation plans
✅ Design and implement provider-agnostic JVM libraries (Scala) for uploads & URL generation
✅ Migrate services onto the new abstraction layer with backward compatibility and zero user impact
✅ Ship robust, well-tested code that follows industry best practices and existing architecture patterns
✅ Contribute to architecture reviews, code reviews, and long-term media platform decisions
👤 This is you
✅ 6+ years building and operating large-scale distributed systems
✅ Strong JVM background, Scala highly preferred
✅ Solid grasp of microservices & event-driven design and inter-service communication
✅ Comfortable running services in AWS or GCP with production SLAs
✅ DevOps mindset: CI/CD, deployment automation, IaC familiarity
