Senior Scientist I, Epidemiology and Public Health, IHDP

The A*STAR Institute for Human Development and Potential (A*STAR IHDP) focuses on research to improve and impact the health and well-being of Singaporeans across the life course. IHDP conducts research on developmental cohorts as well as related studies in metabolic health, mental health, environmental nutrition, metabolism, allergy and neurocognition and environmental influences on human development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
The Responsibilities:

  • Communication and interpretation of research findings in the area of adolescent health and wellbeing to the wider community
  • Communication of research findings in the area of adolescent health and wellbeing to policy makers
  • Collaboration and engagement with key stakeholder in the Singaporean ecosystem around adolescent health and wellbeing

The Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Health Sciences, Psychology, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of post-doctoral experience.
  • Experience in using statistical software (e.g. SPSS)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in working with policy makers
  • Evidence of a productive track record of working with policy makers
