Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior SDET to join our dynamic team. As a Senior SDET, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated test frameworks, ensuring the quality and performance of complex applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the development process and maintain high-quality standards across the board.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure the high quality of software products.
  • Work closely with software developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Design and execute complex test cases, create test plans, and define testing strategies for both functional and non-functional aspects of the product.
  • Identify, log, and track bugs through to resolution.
  • Ensure continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines include automated testing stages.
  • Collaborate in code reviews to ensure testability and code quality.
  • Drive improvements in automation processes and testing methodologies.
  • Mentor junior SDETs and provide guidance on best practices for automation and quality assurance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3-6 years of hands-on experience in software testing and test automation.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Strong experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Solid understanding of testing methodologies, both functional and non-functional (performance, security, etc.).
  • Experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience in performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work with distributed teams.
