Senior Search Engineer at BairesDev

As a Senior Search Engineer, you will lead the architecture and refinement of high-scale search platforms. You will focus on enhancing discovery experiences by balancing sophisticated retrieval techniques with system performance and scalability.

What You'll Do:

- Architect and maintain distributed indexing pipelines to handle massive datasets with low latency.
- Fine-tune search relevance models using scoring algorithms like BM25 to ensure precise user results.
- Implement advanced query optimization strategies and hybrid search solutions to improve retrieval quality.
- Develop and oversee complex search features from initial design through production deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate user signals into the core search stack.
- Analyze and benchmark system performance to proactively identify and resolve processing bottlenecks.
