Senior Security Engineer ($60–$85/hr)

Compensation: $60k – $120k • No equity

Contract role: experienced security engineers review and assess AI-generated security work on flexible, paid projects ($60–$85/hr, 15–40 hours a week, remote).

About Trewox Trewox connects experienced professionals with flexible, paid projects in their field. We’re looking for experienced security professionals to contribute their expertise to projects across security engineering, operations and incident response.

Responsibilities Review and assess security work, including code, analyses and incident reports. Give clear, detailed written feedback on accuracy, risk and reasoning. Create realistic scenarios and evaluation criteria from your experience. Contribute to projects across SOC, incident response, AppSec and vulnerability management.

Requirements 5+ years as a security engineer, analyst, architect or CISO. Ownership of incident response, security architecture or a compliance programme. Strong written English; able to explain technical issues to engineers and executives.

Preferred Hands-on SOC, IR, detection or AppSec work. Published research, CVEs, bug-bounty acceptances or CTF results. CISSP, CISM, OSCP, GIAC or an international equivalent.

Terms Independent contractor, fully remote. Work at the times that suit you. Projects run from a few weeks to a few months.
