About the Role

Credit Direct is seeking an experienced Senior Security Engineer to strengthen the security of its cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes platforms, software delivery pipelines, and data environments while ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage security controls across AWS environments.
• Secure Kubernetes (EKS) clusters, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response activities.
• Strengthen database and data security controls.
• Support compliance with PCI DSS, ISO 27001, NDPR, and CBN requirements.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability management, and remediation.
• Automate security operations using Python, Bash, Terraform, and AWS tools.
• Provide security guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of cybersecurity or security engineering experience.
• At least 4 years securing AWS production workloads and 2 years securing Kubernetes environments.
• Strong expertise in AWS security services, Kubernetes security, DevSecOps, and database security.
• Professional certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, CKS, CISSP, CISM, CCSP, OSCP, or GIAC certifications are highly preferred.
• Experience in regulated environments; financial services experience is an advantage.
