Senior Security Engineer

Hitachi Rail in Napoli seeks a Senior Physical Security Systems Engineer to design and implement CCTV, ACS, IDS, and PSIM components, ensuring contracts meet time, quality and cost constraints.

You will lead technical interfaces with customers, coordinate with project teams, and oversee commissioning and testing on site, delivering training and reports to enable safe operation.

Analyze customer Physical Security system specifications, decomposing statements into requirements. Identify gaps between customer requirements and company products. Create requirement documents, including high level design, interface control design, and requirements traceability documents. Be the primary technical interface to the customer throughout the project life cycle. Coordinate work sequences, schedules, resources and punch list items. Develop and execute commissioning plans; onsite lead for commissioning and acceptance testing. Provide local/remote technical support during commissioning and operation. Create training and handoff material for internal and external O&M teams. Produce professional commissioning and testing reports for stakeholders. Master’s degree in Electronic, Electrical Engineering or Computer/Information Science. Minimum 5 years of Physical Security System Engineering experience. Railway experience preferred but other large-scale projects can be considered (e.g. Oil&Gas, power energy, airports).
