Senior Security Manager
Bristol Bay Services, LLC is a Government Consulting and Contracting firm supporting missions throughout the world. Bristol Bay Services, LLC is seeking a Senior Security Manager to join our team. The Senior Security Manager’s role is to lead the enterprise industrial security function across a portfolio of cleared Government contracting companies, including Facility Security Officer (FSO), Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO), and Key Management Personnel (KMP) responsibilities.
What You’ll Do:
Lead, develop, and manage the industrial security team, including workload, priorities, cross-training, performance expectations, and professional development.
Serve as designated FSO for assigned cleared entities and supervise implementation of applicable requirements under 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and related U.S. Government security requirements.
Serve as ITPSO for assigned cleared entities and oversee execution of required insider threat program activities, training, coordination, documentation, and reporting.
Serve as KMP for assigned cleared entities and maintain required clearance eligibility, training, briefings, and documentation.
Maintain effective relationships with DCSA and coordinate reviews, assessments, inquiries, corrective actions, facility clearance actions, KMP changes, and other required submissions.
Oversee personnel security administration, access eligibility records, required security briefings, security incident and reportable activity processing, and related Government systems including NISS, DISS, and NBIS.
Conduct or oversee required annual self-inspections, track corrective actions, and provide the SMO and executive leadership with clear visibility into material security risks and open actions.
Review and support implementation of DD Form 254 requirements and other classified contract security requirements.
Establish consistent security processes and controls across cleared companies while accounting for entity-specific requirements and contract conditions.
Maintain documented procedures, cross-training, succession capability, and continuity arrangements that reduce key-person dependency.
Partner with Legal, Contracts, Human Resources, Information Technology, cybersecurity, operations, and executive leadership on security matters affecting cleared operations.
Support integration of newly acquired, newly formed, or newly cleared entities into the enterprise security operating model.
Manage third-party or shared security support, when used, while retaining appropriate internal oversight and accountability for assigned FSO and ITPSO responsibilities.
What You Bring:
Required:
Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible industrial security experience within U.S. Government contracting organizations.
Significant hands-on experience performing FSO responsibilities under the NISP.
Demonstrated experience with personnel security, facility clearances, DCSA interactions, classified contract requirements, and security self-inspections.
Demonstrated experience leading, developing, and managing security personnel.
Strong working knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and applicable DCSA requirements.
Working experience with NISS, DISS, NBIS, and related industrial security systems and processes.
Current Top Secret security clearance and ability to maintain Top Secret eligibility.
Ability to satisfy applicable FSO, ITPSO, and KMP requirements and maintain required training and eligibility.
Preferred:
Experience supporting a multi-entity Government contracting organization with multiple Facility Clearances.
Experience within an Alaska Native Corporation, Tribal-owned enterprise, or similarly structured multi-subsidiary Government contractor.
Experience serving as FSO and/or ITPSO for multiple cleared legal entities.
Experience managing a centralized or shared-service industrial security function.
Experience supporting acquisitions, organizational growth, facility-clearance transitions, or integration of newly established Government contracting entities.
This is a leadership role, not solely a transactional FSO position. Success requires a security leader who can build a resilient team, maintain disciplined NISP compliance, identify capacity and control risks early, and provide practical security support to a growing portfolio of cleared Government contracting companies.
