Job Summary
The Senior Security Officer is responsible for overseeing and executing all security officer duties and operations across the assigned site, in accordance with post instructions and client requirements. This role generally supports senior operational duties and assists the supervisor where required. These duties include visitor management, patrols, incident reporting, card access management, vehicle registration, emergency response, and enforcing site policies while maintaining professional customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities
Incident Response
- Prepare and respond to security incident and occurrence reports
- Assist in evacuation
Manage Security & Safety Systems
- Manage Central Alarm Monitoring System
- Manage fire control system
- Manage lift control system
- Manage carpark system, Register authorized vehicles and maintain accurate records
- Respond to emergencies and provide assistance when required
- Enforce company security policies professionally and courteously
CCTV/Central Alarm Monitoring/ Fire Command Centre Monitoring
- Monitor CCTV system & Centralized Alarm monitoring
- Maintain CCTV storage libraries
- Conduct security patrols
Key Press Management
- Manage access cards and accounting of key issuance records
General Screening
- Manage the access control and visitor registration
- Greet and assist visitors professionally
- Deliver excellent customer service to staff, visitors, and guests
Job Requirements
- Possess a valid PRD license with a minimum PWM rank of SSO.
- Ability to perform 12-hour shift work, including weekends and public holidays.
- Able to communicate effectively with employees, visitors, and management.
- Able to conduct patrols and stand for extended periods.
- Able to perform customer-service oriented, responsible, alert, and reliable
- Experience in commercial, industrial, or aerospace environments
Professional Standards
· Display PRD identification at all times while on site.
· Maintain proper grooming standards and wear the prescribed uniform.
· Comply with all Company policies, client requirements, and post instructions..
