Senior Security Project Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Security Project Manager to lead and coordinate cybersecurity and IT security projects in a highly secure environment. The role involves project governance, stakeholder coordination, security standards, risk management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex IT security and cybersecurity projects from initiation to delivery.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and provide coaching and guidance.
• Manage stakeholders and ensure effective communication throughout projects.
• Apply security frameworks, standards, and best practices.
• Support security initiatives related to Zero Trust, NIST, ISO 27001, SIEM, PKI, and EDR.
• Prepare project documentation, reporting, and governance materials.
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies and project meetings.
• Ensure projects comply with security, quality, and organisational requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of proven professional experience.
• Strong experience as an IT/Security Project Manager.
• Expert knowledge of Agile and project management.
• Experience with PRINCE2, PMBOK, and Scrum.
• Good knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, and Zero Trust.
• Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Knowledge of SIEM, EDR, PKI, Linux, Windows, or Android is an advantage.
• Experience in highly secure environments is a strong advantage.

Mandatory Conditions

• Belgian nationality required.
• Must hold a Top Secret security clearance or be willing and eligible to obtain one.
• 100% on-site work required; no remote work.
• Native Dutch or French, with good knowledge of the other national language and English.
