Senior Service Designer

Salary: £70,000 - 82,320 per year

• Proven experience as a Senior Service Designer in complex digital transformation environments
• Strong knowledge of GDS standards and user-centred design principles
• Experience leading service design projects and engaging senior stakeholders
• Excellent workshop facilitation, communication and collaboration skills
• Active SC Security Clearance is essential

• Lead end-to-end service design activities, from discovery through implementation and delivery
• Design and shape innovative digital services around user needs and business objectives
• Apply GDS standards, accessibility requirements and inclusive design principles
• Plan and facilitate workshops, stakeholder sessions, co-design activities and design sprints
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including UX/UI Designers, User Researchers, Product Owners and Developers
• Use research, insights and service mapping to identify opportunities and improve customer experiences
• Support and mentor junior designers and contribute to the wider design community
