The opportunity

To support our expansion plans, we are currently hiring a Senior Service Management Consultant to strengthen our team and embark on an exciting new journey with us. We are specifically seeking high-performing consultants with strong experience in service management platforms. Candidates with backgrounds in competing or adjacent solutions are strongly encouraged to apply, including platforms such as ServiceNow, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce Field Service, ClickSoftware, Maximo, Pronto, TechnologyOne, Infor, or similar enterprise solutions. IFS knowledge will be an asset.

What you’ll be doing:

Customer Advisory & Discovery

  • Lead customer workshops to understand current processes, pain points, business objectives, and transformation priorities.

  • Facilitate future-state design discussions across service management and asset-intensive operations.

  • Translate business requirements into practical solution approaches.

  • Challenge inefficient legacy processes and recommend best-practice operating models.

Solution Design & Delivery

  • Support end-to-end implementation projects from discovery through go-live.

  • Define business process designs for service, maintenance, scheduling, dispatch, mobility, and work execution.

  • Prepare functional design documents, process maps, user stories, and backlog items.

  • Work closely with technical teams on integrations, reporting, and data requirements.

  • Support testing cycles, training, cutover, and hypercare activities.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build trusted relationships with customer sponsors, operational managers, and frontline users.

  • Present clearly to executive and operational audiences.

  • Manage workshops professionally and drive decisions to closure.

  • Communicate risks, dependencies, and recommendations with confidence.

Quality & Commercial Discipline

  • Deliver high-quality outputs on time and to agreed standards.

  • Support scope management and identify change impacts early.

  • Contribute to strong project margin outcomes through disciplined delivery.

What we expect from you:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Consultant, Functional Consultant, Solution Consultant, or equivalent role.

  • Proven delivery experience in service management, field service, enterprise asset management, maintenance, workforce scheduling, or work management programs.

  • Strong experience in one or more enterprise platforms outside IFS, such as ServiceNow, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Maximo, Infor, ClickSoftware, or similar.

  • Experience leading workshops, requirements gathering, and business process redesign.

  • Strong understanding of operational service environments such as utilities, construction, engineering, mining, facilities management, logistics, or field services.

  • Strong presentation skills with confidence leading customer workshops.

  • Excellent spoken and written English.
