Senior Site Engineer - 2 years contract
Role Overview
Lead and oversee site construction activities for MRT infrastructure projects, ensuring smooth coordination, timely progress, and compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily construction activities and monitor site progress
- Plan, implement, and track work according to master and detailed schedules
- Liaise with Professional Engineer on temporary works
- Coordinate with consultants (QPS) and subcontractors on technical matters
- Resolve technical and engineering issues on site
- Guide supervisors and ensure works meet timeline and quality standards
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with specifications
- Prepare reports, method statements, and documentation
- Manage workforce and maintain site safety and housekeeping
- Supervise ongoing construction activities closely
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of construction experience
- Experience in LTA / infrastructure projects preferred
- Hands-on experience in Diaphragm Wall (D-wall), Borepiling, and Tunnelling works
- Strong coordination and site management skills
