Senior Site Engineer
Job Description:
- Plan, coordinate, and schedule work sequences for construction operations in accordance with the Project Management Plan.
- Lead site execution activities and ensure works are carried out according to approved construction drawings, specifications, and authority requirements.
- Liaise with consultants on design development, technical submissions, design coordination, and resolution of site technical issues.
- Coordinate with clients on design submissions, project updates, and work progress supervision.
- Conduct regular site inspections for civil works, including excavation, structural works, and concreting, ensuring compliance with quality standards and contractual requirements.
- Manage and supervise subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of works in accordance with project requirements.
- Ensure Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) standards and practices are strictly implemented on site.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks or delays, and implement mitigation measures where necessary.
- Prepare and review technical submissions, method statements, and relevant project documentation.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Building / Construction Management, or related discipline in construction.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant construction experience.
- Strong experience in technical submissions and site coordination.
- Proven ability to lead subcontractors and manage site execution independently.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills; a good team player.
- Resident Engineer (RE) certification is an added advantage.
