Senior Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and optimizing cloud-based infrastructures, particularly with OpenShift Container Platform and related technologies. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our services. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable systems using OpenShift Container Platform and Operator Lifecycle Manager (OLM). - Develop and maintain Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs) to enhance platform capabilities. - Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications into the OpenShift environment. - Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability and reliability. - Implement best practices for platform reliability and site reliability engineering (SRE). - Work with OpenShift Virtualization and KubeVirt to manage virtualized workloads on bare metal infrastructure. - Participate in on-call rotations and incident response efforts to resolve production issues. Required Skills: - Strong expertise in OpenShift Container Platform and Operator Lifecycle Manager (OLM). - Proficiency in Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs) and their implementation. - Experience with platform reliability and site reliability engineering principles. - Familiarity with OpenShift Virtualization and KubeVirt. - Knowledge of managing bare metal environments. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. - Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
