(Senior) SOC Analyst (all genders)

Our internal SOC Team is looking for you as a (Senior) SOC Analyst (all genders) to play a vital role in safeguarding our digital ecosystem. You will contribute to, shape, and actively create a secure environment for our e-commerce-focused business.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and monitoring security events and reviewing security implementations of our cloud environment.

• Participating in the optimization and creation of playbooks.

• Actively reviewing and challenging our current setup, implementing countermeasures for existing threats.

• Working on automation of processes, responses, and workflows.

• Defining and implementing detection rules and potential hardening opportunities for our systems, allowing you to actively shape the future of our SOC.

• Participating in a 24/7 on-call service for approximately one week per month.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information security, computer science, or a comparable apprenticeship (e.g., proven professional experience in cybersecurity).

• At least 3+ years of professional experience.

• Experience with cloud environments like Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services and with Microsoft-based environments.

• Experience and knowledge of containers and container security (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

• Understanding and knowledge of SIEMs, ideally Microsoft Sentinel, systems, and heterogeneous system landscapes.

• Hands-on mentality paired with a deep interest in understanding the latest (cloud) threats and trends.

• Fluent spoken and written English.
