We're hiring a Senior Social Worker for a leading healthcare provider in Dubai. You'll assess patients' social and financial circumstances, connect them with the support they need, and help families cope with illness and treatment.
What you'll do
- Run social, economic and environmental assessments for patients and recommend the right services
- Keep patient social records up to date to support treatment plans
- Follow up with patients regularly and do home visits when needed
- Arrange medical supplies and charity referrals for patients facing financial hardship
- Give psychosocial support to patients and families
- Plan awareness programs and patient activities
- Coordinate with social services teams at other hospitals
- Prepare social reports, certificates and periodic statistics
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work
- 5 to 7 years of social work experience, ideally in a hospital or healthcare setting
- Valid CDA (Community Development Authority) license
- Knowledge of UAE social service laws and regulations
- Strong assessment, communication and report-writing skills
- Fluent Arabic and English
