Senior Software Architect, Salesforce Sales

PAR is seeking a Senior Software Salesforce Architect to join the team. PAR is an international, fast-paced, high-growth organization with a cloud-first, SaaS-centric technology stack and a limited on-prem footprint.

The Senior Software Salesforce Architect is a critical member of the team who will help maximize the value of the Salesforce platform while adhering to platform best practices. In partnership with Product Management, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, Salesforce Developers/Administrators, Release Managers, and QA teams on solution discovery and delivery. You will conceptualize new solutions and recommend enhancements to existing functionality while leading the architectural vision across Salesforce Sales Cloud platforms, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions aligned with PAR’s technology standards, security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Why We Need You

  • Partner with Product Owners to understand requirements and design comprehensive solutions that meet stakeholder needs

  • Define and document Salesforce architecture, including integrations and customizations

  • Serve as the Salesforce technical authority for complex implementations and integrations

  • Lead solution design for integrations with internal systems (APIs, middleware, data platforms)

  • Review and approve technical designs, data models, and implementation approaches

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to administration and development teams to ensure adherence to best practices and standards

  • Ensure configurations and customizations comply with security standards

  • Provide thought leadership to support PAR’s digital transformation and drive positive user experiences

  • Work as part of a Scrum team with Salesforce Admins and QA to deliver business value

  • Analyze existing processes and solutions for optimization and performance improvements

  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions

  • Drive platform optimization, performance tuning, and technical debt reduction

  • Evaluate new Salesforce features and releases for business value

  • Promote reuse, automation, and low-code/no-code best practices

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Relevant Salesforce certifications preferred

  • 10+ years of experience working with Salesforce in an Admin capacity

  • At least 4 years of experience as a Salesforce Architect, including 1+ year with CPQ/Revenue Cloud

  • Well-rounded functional knowledge across the Lead-to-Quote value stream

  • Experience working within a formal Salesforce Application Lifecycle Management environment (Dev/QA/UAT/Prod)

Nice to Have

  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodology

  • Experience with Commerce Cloud

  • Experience with Gearset or other Salesforce DevOps tools

  • Experience working in a SaaS technology company or other fast-paced, high-growth environments

  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions (M&A)
