Job Description:

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Software Developer with strong AI-driven development expertise who can independently manage the complete software development lifecycle using modern AI coding tools. The ideal candidate should have strong full-stack development and system architecture skills, along with hands-on experience using AI development platforms such as Anthropic Claude Code, OpenAI ChatGPT/Codex, Cursor, or similar AI-powered coding agents. This role is ideal for a senior developer who can transform product ideas into production-ready applications by effectively directing AI tools, reviewing generated code, solving complex technical problems, and ensuring quality and security.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities the developer OWNS the full cycle:

• Turn product requirements into a technical plan/architecture Build the application using AI-assisted development as the default method (Claude Code / ChatGPT-Codex / Cursor-style agent workflows)
• Direct AI agents: break work into tasks, write effective specs and prompts, run parallel workstreams where possible Critically review ALL AI output correctness, security,performance, maintainability. AI-written code that the developer cannot explain is not accepted.
• Set up and maintain the basics: repo, CI/CD, environments, testing, deployment
• Write tests that actually protect the product (unit,integration, key end-to-end flows)
• Ship working increments weekly; demo progress, not plans Document architecture decisions and the AI workflows used, so another senior can pick the project up
• Flag risks early: scope, security, data, third-party limits

Required Technical Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong full-stack development experience.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js or Python; other modern technology stacks are also welcome.
• Strong knowledge of system design, database architecture, API development, authentication, and third-party integrations.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Hands-on experience with Git, code reviews, CI/CD, automated testing, and application deployment.

AI Development Skill

• Practical experience with Anthropic Claude and Claude Code or OpenAI ChatGPT/Codex.
• Experience using AI agents for end-to-end application development.
• Strong prompt engineering and context management skills.
• Ability to guide AI tools, evaluate generated code, identify errors, and debug complex issues.
• Understanding of AI limitations, security risks, and code quality requirements.
• Ability to combine AI-assisted development with manual coding and technical problem-solving.

Candidate Profile

• Must have experience delivering production-ready software applications.
• Should be capable of independently managing the complete development lifecycle.
• Must demonstrate strong architectural judgment and technical decision-making.
• Should be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be productive from day one.
• Should be available for approximately 10 hours per week.
• Must be comfortable working remotely with some overlap with Pacific Time business hours.
