Senior Software Developer
Summary
Develops and controls test software for Fabrinet's optical products: writes and installs test scripts for NPI products, monitors critical test yields, and documents test plans and benches. Core stack includes LabVIEW, Visual Studio .NET (VB, C#, C++), Python, SQL, and PLC programming.
Job Purpose
Provide and update process flows and process instructions. Report and monitor daily yields of critical test operations if any downward trend is noted, appropriate actions must be taken Responsible for Software control and development on specific products/models. Support the Organization Goals in achieving Total Customer Satisfaction and FBN’s core values.
Key Responsibilities
Develops solutions to technical problems through the engineering principles, theories and concepts.
Supervises subordinates to perform their functions.
Receives assignments and guidance from project leaders and engineering managers.
Install the approved software on the test equipment as stated in the process instructions.
Performs test script development for NPI products.
Ensure NPI test area stable, improve and enhance test features as required.
Test leader of NPI test issues.
Develop Test plan.
Highlight opportunities of improvements.
Document test benches and/or test scripts.
Know your customer's expectations and drive action to meet them.
Performs related work as required.
Job Qualifications:
Education: B.A/B.S./B. Eng., M.A/M.S./M.Eng. or related fields.
Experience: +5 years
Required Skills:
Programming skills
Good command of English
Job Competencies:
OOP, LabVIEW, Visual Studio .Net (VB, C#, C++), Python, SQL, PLC Programming, Understanding of Networking products and DWDM/ETH/OTU Technology knowledge.
