About the Role

Our client is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Software Developer specializing in Full-Stack development to join their innovative technology team based in Randburg, Gauteng. You will play a key role in mentoring junior developers and influencing technical direction.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack web applications and services. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using modern programming languages and frameworks. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define project requirements and technical specifications. Develop and maintain APIs, databases, and server-side logic. Implement and optimize front-end user interfaces for optimal user experience. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software systems. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering their technical growth. Contribute to architectural decisions and technology selection. Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of applications developed in Randburg, Gauteng. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development. Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, Java Script, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). Strong experience with back-end languages and frameworks (e.g., Python/Django, Node.js/Express, Java/Spring, C#/. NET). Experience with relational databases (e.g., Postgre SQL, My SQL) and/or No SQL databases (e.g., Mongo DB). Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities, suitable for a hybrid environment in Randburg.
